Speaking of another wedding... This time, a reset wedding. It is the supposed Visayan wedding of actress Andi Eigenmann and surfing champ Philmar Alipayo.
Andi — in an interview during the Parangal sa Sining of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) held at the Seda Vertis of the Ayalas in Quezon City — clarified that their planned wedding this year is postponed.
"It is because we are still grieving the passing of my Mom," said Andi who referred to her mother Jaclyn Jose who died last March 2, 2024.
Andi was the one who received the posthumous award for late mom, Jaclyn Jose, from the FDCP.
It must be recalled that Andi and Philmar announced that they would be tying the knot this year in a Visayan wedding until the fatal accident happened to Jaclyn, Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck in real life.
Although sad about the postponement of their wedding, Andi is sadder about the untimely demise of her mom who won the Palme d'Or Best Actress at the 2016 Cannes International Film Festival in France.
Jaclyn Jose was the first Filipino actress and a Southeast Asian film artist who had won in the prestigious fest.
Andi has two kids with Philmar, Lilo and Koa.
Meanwhile, she has a daughter, Ellie, with actor Jake Ejercito.
